OZ Hair and Skin — Polished salon site with Square booking, gallery, and testimonials

OZ Hair and Skin needed a website that matched the quality of their salon. Walking in, the space is calm, considered, premium — the previous web presence didn't reflect any of that. The brief was specific: a site that closes the trust gap for someone who's heard about the salon by word of mouth and is googling to confirm. Not a lead-gen funnel, not an SEO content engine. A polished closer.

We built it on Next.js 15 with Tailwind. The structure is deliberately tight: a hero with the salon's photography, a gallery showing work across hair and skin services, a testimonials carousel pulling real client quotes, a pricing section that's transparent about what services cost, salon policies (cancellation, lateness, kids), and a Square booking integration so prospects can book directly without leaving the site. No marketing fluff, no stock imagery, no aggressive CTAs. The aesthetic does the persuasion.

The Square integration was the technical center of gravity. Square's booking API has specific quirks around availability windows, service variants, and walk-in flows that the docs only partially cover. The site handles all of those cleanly: a prospect picks a service, sees real-time availability, picks a stylist if they have a preference, and books — all without bouncing to a separate Square-hosted page that would break the brand experience.

The site shipped on schedule. Bookings began arriving within the first week. The owner reports prospects mention the site by name in their first appointments — the conversion job we built it to do.
