Privacy
Last updated: 2026-04-27
This privacy notice explains how Yunize collects, uses, retains, and shares personal information when you use yunize.com or contact us through the site. Yunize is a sole proprietorship operated from Kitchener, Ontario, and is subject to the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).
What we collect
When you book a discovery call through yunize.com, we collect your name, email address, and any details you choose to share when scheduling. This data is provided to Cal.com, our booking platform, when you complete a booking. If you instead email us directly using the mailto link, your email client sends the message and Cal.com is not involved.
When you visit any page on yunize.com, we collect anonymous analytics via PostHog: page views, referring source, approximate location (country/region from IP, never precise coordinates), device class, browser, and discrete interaction events on key elements (which CTA was clicked, which case study card was opened, when a booking completes via Cal.com). Page-view and CTA tracking is requested through a same-origin /ingest reverse proxy so it works correctly with ad-blockers. PostHog uses a first-party cookie to deduplicate sessions. We do not record sessions, and we do not use personalised tracking for visitors who have not become clients.
We do not collect any other personal information.
How we use it
The discovery call data is used to schedule and conduct your discovery call, to prepare a proposal if we proceed, and to communicate with you about the engagement. If we do not work together, we delete this data within 90 days of the discovery call.
The aggregate analytics data is used to understand which pages prospects spend time on and where they came from, so we can improve the site. We do not use it to identify you or build a profile.
How long we retain it
- Discovery call data: 90 days from the date of the call, unless we begin an engagement (in which case it becomes part of the project record).
- Project records (active and past engagements): retained for 7 years from project completion to comply with Canadian tax and contract law.
- Analytics data: aggregated indefinitely; no individual identification possible.
Third parties
We share data with the following third parties only as required to operate the site:
- Cal.com — receives your booking data when you book a discovery call.
- PostHog — receives page-view data and discrete interaction events (CTA clicks, case-study opens, booking completions). Session recording is disabled. Profiles are only created for identified clients, not anonymous visitors. Requests are proxied through a same-origin
/ingestpath. - Vercel — hosts the site and receives standard server logs (IP address, request path, timestamp).
We do not sell, rent, or share your data with any other party.
Your rights
Under PIPEDA, you have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, correct inaccuracies, request deletion, and withdraw consent for ongoing communications. To exercise any of these rights, email divahar@yunize.com and we'll respond within 30 days.
Changes
If we change this notice materially, we'll update the “Last updated” date and post a notice on the site for 30 days. Continued use of the site after a change constitutes acceptance.
